TARGET AUDIENCE + 16
If a younger audience watch an old teen scary movie that is actually rated for an all aged audience, the most probable outcome for that the young audience is that he would have terrible nightmares. That will evolve parents complaining to the production company, and obviously that would give a bad image for the company. This is exactly why finding the correct target audience for a scary film or any type of media is one of the most important ideas related to the heath and safety of the audience. This is why my short extract target audience is going to be + 16 for older teens specially given that they are going to be able to relate with the main character who is an 18 year old girl who is thinking where she is going to go for university.
The Target Audience for my Movie is gonna be 16+ given that it is a good age in which the audience isn't too young or too old. Personally I think the movie that I am going to create is more set to a young adult audience give that it is gonna have characters with a similar age as them and teens love horror movies. Also the fact that I am gonna set it in some stables gives a sense of something fashionable, given that the sport of horse riding it is set as the number one most popular sport now a days and that is literally something that mostly teens and young adults know but of course it is also a good remainder to a more older audience, of when they worked in the filed day and night with their horses. The horses could be a remainder of how it was for them at the age of the characters and to see how the world has developed over the years and how people now a days ride horses for different reasons that they did, for fun and how horse riding is a a luxury instead of for survive and for work. Also I think it is specially based for young adults given that It shows the world of now a days and also the fact that the girls are gonna be talking about boys and that is something teens and young adults enjoy to watch because maybe that can remind them of them self's. The scary movies are the kind of films you watch with friends.
